When Johnnie Bright made a career shift from automotive
equipment sales to real estate in the year 2000, he already knew
something about working with people:
always put the customer first.
Having owned and operated his own automotive repair
business, early in his career, Johnnie learned to make his customers’
needs his top business priority. Once he did this, everything else
seemed to fall in place.
Johnnie was born and raised in Beaufort County, North Carolina.
After running his own automotive repair business for 13 years,
he and his family relocated to the Raleigh area where he worked
in auto parts sales and management for 12 years. Johnnie enjoys
spending time with his wife, Joan, who works with him in real estate.
Outside Johnnie’s passion for his Real Estate business he also has
a passion for street rods and muscle cars. For the past 10 years,
Johnnie has thrived in the real estate industry thanks to the same
customer service philosophy and word-of-mouth referrals that
created his earlier successes.
It is this solid customer service philosophy that has driven Johnnie

Pittman Properties, formerly known as Ammons Pittman
GMAC Real Estate, every year since 2001. He has been named
the Top Sales Agent in his office and company-wide for
multiple years.
Johnnie’s ability to be so active in the industry serves as an asset
to his clients. “Being a top producer in the company,” Johnnie says,
“Gives me a consistent opportunity to be hands-on with the market.
I’m constantly studying the areas that my clients are interested in,
looking at what are current active listings, and monitoring what has
